Step 1: Let´s connect
Reach out to say hello and share what you’re dreaming of for your session or event. Whether it’s a cozy newborn shoot, a family adventure at a DC monument, a branding session, or your wedding day — I’d love to hear about it!
You can book directly through my online link or reach out if you have any questions that aren’t covered in my Q&A section. My goal is to make the booking process smooth and easy for you, with all the information you need right at your fingertips.
From our first hello, I’ll guide you through everything: your vision, location ideas, styling tips, and what matters most, to ensure we’re the perfect fit and your experience is stress-free.

Step 2: Secure Your Date
Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a proposal with all the details, including your chosen package, session timing, and optional add-ons (like rush delivery, prints, or albums). A signed contract and retainer fee will officially lock in your date on my calendar. This step gives you peace of mind that everything is confirmed, and I’m here to guide you from here on out!

Step 3: Prep & Plan
This is where the fun really starts. We’ll work together to finalize:
• Timeline + Session Flow – I’ll help you choose the best time for light, whether it’s golden hour for a family session or the perfect window for your wedding ceremony.
• Location – We can explore meaningful spots, from iconic DC monuments to hidden gems or even your own home or studio.
• Styling – You’ll receive my styling guide, and I’m happy to review outfit options, color palettes, or help you choose from my client wardrobe (available for certain sessions).
• Posing + Comfort Tips – I’ll share guidance to help you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera.
For weddings and larger events, we’ll also confirm the full photography timeline and key moments you want captured.

Step 4: Session or Wedding Day
The big day! Whether it’s your family session, engagement shoot, branding session, or wedding — this is when you get to simply enjoy the moment. I’ll focus on documenting genuine connection, beautiful light, and natural emotion without forced poses or awkward direction. I gently guide when needed, but mostly I aim to create a space where you can be present and let the magic unfold.

Step 5: Gallery Delivery & Keepsakes
Your fully edited gallery will be ready within the promised timeline:
• Mini & Deluxe Mini Sessions – within 21 days
• Signature & In-Studio Sessions, Events – within 14 days
• Weddings – within 4–6 weeks
I’ll send you a private online gallery where you can download images, share, and choose favorites for prints, albums, or custom keepsakes. Rush delivery is available upon request. I’m happy to help with design ideas for albums or recommendations for framing, too.

01. What is your photography style?
My style is light, natural, and connection-driven. I focus on true-to-color editing and timeless imagery that reflects genuine moments. Whether it’s a joyful family session, emotional wedding day, or cozy newborn shoot, I aim for natural interactions — no stiff poses or forced smiles.
02. Do you provide guidance on what to wear?
Yes! Every client receives a detailed PDF styling guide with tips for colors, textures, and outfit combinations that photograph beautifully. I’m also happy to review your outfit choices or assist with my client wardrobe (available for certain sessions, like maternity).
03. Do you help plan the timeline?
For weddings, I review your planner or coordinator’s timeline to ensure smooth photography coverage. I don’t create the full wedding timeline myself. For engagement, family, maternity, and newborn sessions, I help plan the best time of day — usually mornings for soft light and less crowd — and guide you on session flow.
04. How long will it take to receive our photos?
• Mini sessions: within 21 days
• Signature & studio sessions: within 14 days
• Weddings & events: 4–6 weeks
• Rush delivery (any service): within 2 days for $350
05. How many images will we receive?
It depends on your session:
• Mini session: 6 edited images (option to purchase more)
• Signature: 30–60 images
• Weddings & events: ~80 edited images/hour
• Newborn: 35–50 images
• Branding/headshots: 10–30 images
06. Do you travel for sessions?
Yes! Travel is free within 10 miles of MD 20902. Beyond that, a 15% fee applies per every additional 5 miles. I’m happy to discuss travel for out-of-town or destination shoots.
07. What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
For sessions (engagement, family, maternity, newborn outdoors), I reschedule for rain or severe weather. I don’t reschedule for cloudy or sunny days — both can create beautiful results. For weddings and events, I work with whatever conditions we have and help find creative solutions.
08. Do we need a photography permit?
If your chosen location requires a permit (common for DC monuments, parks, or certain venues), clients are responsible for securing it. I’m happy to advise on what’s needed.
09. Do you offer prints, albums, or invitations?
Yes! You can order prints, albums, wall art, and wedding invitations directly from your online gallery or through my website.
10. Do you offer video services?
I don’t offer full video coverage, but with wedding and event packages, I include 5–10 short unedited video clips for social sharing if specified in the package.
11. Do you offer rush delivery?
Yes! Rush delivery is available within 2 business days for $350.
12. Do you retouch the images?
All images are lightly retouched for a clean, natural look (minor blemish removal, flyaway hair, etc.). I don’t do heavy Photoshop work (face swaps, wrinkle removal) unless requested — additional editing is $30–$100 per image.
13. Do we sign a contract?
Yes — all bookings (from mini sessions to weddings) require a signed contract to protect both parties.
14. Do you require a retainer to book?
Yes — a retainer is required to secure your date. The balance is due 3 days prior to your session or event. Or you can pay the full amount.
15. Can we upgrade or extend our package?
Yes! You can add time ($500/hour for weddings/events) or upgrade your package based on availability.
16. Do you provide unedited or RAW files?
No — I deliver polished, fully edited images that reflect my artistic vision and standard.
17. Will you help gather people for group photos in Wedding?
I’ll guide the posing, but I’m not responsible for rounding up guests. For weddings and events, please assign this to your planner, coordinator, or a family helper.
18. Can we meet or chat before booking?
Yes — I offer a free 15-minute video call so we can connect, discuss your vision, and make sure we’re the right fit.
19. Do you work with LGBTQIA+ clients?
Absolutely — all are welcome and celebrated.
20. Do you offer mini sessions year-round?
Mini sessions are offered seasonally at specific locations (e.g., Jefferson Memorial, certain DC landmarks). Availability depends on the time of year and schedule.
