Step 2: Lock in Your Date
Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll confirm your session time and location, then send over the agreement and 50% retainer invoice.
After that’s complete, your date is officially secured! You’ll get a confirmation email with all the prep info and my downloadable PDF Styling Guide to help you get ready.
Sessions are available at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial for Mini Sessions ($399 for 20 minutes), or at any location of your choice for Signature Sessions ($700 for 45–60 minutes).

Step 3: Prep & Plan
This is where we style and map out the session together.

Location: For Mini Sessions, we’ll meet at the Jefferson Memorial. For Signature Sessions, you can choose any location that matches your vision — a classic building, your office space, a favorite neighborhood, or an indoor studio (studio rental +$300/hr).

Outfits: I’ll help you decide on 1–3 outfits depending on session length. Need help styling your look? I’m happy to review options or assist with wardrobe ideas that match your brand or story.

Step 4: Your Session Day
Time to show up and shine! Whether it’s a polished headshot, a personal branding refresh, or senior portraits with personality, I’ll guide you through it with ease.
We’ll capture a mix of posed and candid moments, focusing on natural light, real energy, and confident expressions. For longer sessions, we’ll take our time to explore different spots, styles, and outfit changes.

01. When is the best time for a headshot or branding session?
I recommend booking during early morning or late afternoon for soft, flattering natural light — especially if we’re shooting outdoors. Midday sessions can work well too, especially for studio or shaded locations.
02. Where can we do the session?
Mini sessions take place exclusively at the Jefferson Memorial in DC. For Signature sessions, we can shoot at your office, home, a favorite park, urban location, or a rented studio (studio rental starts at $300/hour).
03. What’s your photography style?
My style is light, clean, and natural, with a focus on genuine expressions and timeless tones. Whether it’s a professional headshot or senior portraits, I aim for confident, relaxed images that feel like you.
04. Do you help with styling?
Yes! You’ll receive my Styling Guide PDF after booking, with tips on colors, outfits, and textures that photograph beautifully. I’m happy to review your looks or offer feedback to help you feel confident and polished.
05. How long will our session be?
Mini Sessions are 20 minutes, and Signature Sessions are 45–60 minutes. Signature sessions provide more time for outfit changes, a variety of locations, and a broader range of content.
06. How many people can be included?
Mini sessions are for individuals only. Signature sessions include up to 2 people (e.g., you and a business partner or assistant). For team branding, please inquire — pricing starts at $700 for 5 people + $100 per additional person.
07. Do you retouch the images?
Yes! I provide natural, professional retouching. This includes skin softening, blemish removal, and color correction while preserving your authentic look. No overly airbrushed or unrealistic edits here.
08. What happens if the weather isn’t ideal?
I don’t reschedule for overcast or cloudy skies — both can produce beautiful results. I will reschedule for rain or extreme conditions. Studio is always an option as a backup.
09. How do we book, and what’s required to secure the date?

Some locations in DC (like monuments or certain public parks) may require permits. I’ll help guide you through the process if needed and recommend permit-free alternatives when possible.
13. Do we sign a contract?
Yes, all sessions require a signed agreement to protect both parties. It outlines what’s included, payment terms, delivery timelines, and usage rights
14. What’s your rescheduling policy?
You’ll receive a detailed policy in your contract. Highlights:
